Female Figures in Mythology
My final project in my first year of college looked at strong female figures in different mythologies throughout the world. I settled on Medusa, from Greek mythology, Freyja from Norse mythology and Xoquiquetzal (Sho-key-ket-zal) from Aztec mythology. These three women are renowned for owning their sexuality as well as being fierce warriors.
